Livestock Carcass Tags
Ketchum Manufacturing Inc. was established in 1913 with the invention of our metal Health of Animals tags. This tag was developed as a regulatory tool for the Canadian Government to allow them to effectively monitor the health of the Canadian Livestock Industry. Over the years Ketchum has established a number of unique products that are tied to food safety and traceability.
Our line of Carcass Tags is both unique and practical for identifying cuts of meat or parts of a carcass. Ketchum standard plastic carcass tags XKH-322-088 4 ¼” x 2” , XKH-316-088 3” x 1 ¾” or XKH-317-088 4 ½” x 2 ½” are available in standard colors of yellow and blue. For large order other colors are available and well as the option of printing company logos, brand names, carcass grades, or consecutive numbers. These Carcass Tags can be conveniently attached using Ketchum’s Plastic Beef Brad. The Plastic Carcass tags are ideal for writing on and hold up well in cold conditions. The size of the tags allows for information to be printed legibly on tags. The plastic tags are separated easily in the cool conditions in the plant to allow quick application.
